Solar Panels for Senegal!
A huge thank you to all who donated & worked to help us raise £2,000 in our 2017 - 19 appeal to raise enough money to provide our link school with electricity. The panels are now being installed!
Especially well done to 2 pupils who, independently, organised their own sponsored events: Ellie raised £88 by swimming 1km; Coen raised £400 by cycling 100 miles! Together, we have made a real difference to the lives of others around the world!
Senegal book project!
We visited ‘Imagine Senegal & The Quetzal’ an exhibition of artwork inspired by our artist friend Claire Griffel’s trips to Senegal. The artwork we saw, as well as Claire’s book about ‘The Quetzal’, have inspired US to publish our own book in English and French to share with our partner school! We hope to use this to raise more funds too!
Fund Raising For Senegal!
