About Us
Old Hutton Church of England Primary School is situated on the edge of the Lake District National Park, an area of great natural beauty, close to the market town of Kendal in South Cumbria.
We are a small school with big ambitions for our children and all in our wider school community. We have high standards and strive for excellence in everything we do. We think that our school is a very special place and we hope you will too!

Opening Times
Our school day is as follows:
Monday - Thursday we start the day with Collective Worship. On Friday we finish the week with our special celebration assembly.
First Session - 8.50am - 10.30am
Morning Playtime - 10.30am - 10.50am
Second Session - 10.50am - 12pm
Lunch Break - 12pm - 1pm
Afternoon Session 1pm - 3.20pm
KS1 Afternoon Playtime - 2.15pm - 2.30pm
Home Time - 3.20pm
Total School Hours Per Day - 6.5 hours
Total School Hours Per Week - 32.5 hours
