Welcome to Class 4 . . . .
Class 4 is where pupils in Upper Key Stage 2, Years 5 and 6 (aged 9-11) learn, have fun, lead by example and prepare for the big move into secondary school. Here, we are lucky enough to have two amazing teachers; Miss Harrison and Mr Turley supported by teaching assistants Miss Helm, Mrs Nelson and Mrs Dodgson.
French is taught by Mrs Nelson.
There is always something exciting going on in Class 4. Whether it’s some brand new learning in Maths, a challenging Science activity, an exhilarating PE lesson or a thoughtful debate in English, we are always making progress in our learning.
The children make lots of decisions about how the class is run and how they organise their work. We get out and about lots on sports events, science trips, theatre visits and residentials. We perform for others, singing, acting and dancing.
Our children play a key part in the school family, helping the younger pupils in the school and leading in the planning and organisation of whole school projects and celebrations.
We are a responsible, fun and successful class in a great school!
