Old Hutton CE Primary School, Old Hutton, Kendal

 Job title: 0.2 fixed-term (1 year initially) PART-TIME CLASS TEACHER: including 0.1 Y4 (Science) & 0.1 EYFS/Y1

Following class re-structures due to pupil numbers, budget and staffing changes, the Head teacher and Governors of Old Hutton CE Primary wish to appoint an excellent part-time teacher to join the high-achieving team of our ‘outstanding’ (Ofsted 2016, SIAMS 2015) church school and National Support School (NSS).

Applications are welcome from both experienced and recently qualified teachers.

Plus – we are offering an additional opportunity, if interested, for the post-holder to take on further hours/days in a Teaching Assistant role within the same year groups and/or others across school, and/or an After-School Club Assistant role (for more details, see other posts currently being advertised). Please make clear in your application whether you may be interested in combining any of these posts with that of 0.2 teacher.

Applicants should also note that while the post is offered initially as a fixed-term 1-year contract, this will be reviewed in the next financial year and may be extended, subject to budget.
